THE DIGITAL INSURER’S ASIAN INSURANCE INNOVATION AWARD
This award recognizes an insurance company who has developed an innovative digital insurance product or service that has made a successful impact to its clients or the insurance industry.
CRITERIA
- Must have Asian connection
- Must be an insurance or reinsurance company based in Asia
- Must be available to present at The Digital Insurer conference in Singapore on 2nd November
- Demonstrates an innovative digital insurance solution that has made a positive impact to its customers or the APAC insurance industry
- Demonstrates innovative digital business strategies
- Be able to demonstrate potential or actual impact or learning from initiative
THE DIGITAL INSURER’S ASIAN START UP INSURTECH AWARD
This award recognizes a company less than 5 years old which has developed an InsurTech product or service that has made a successful impact for its client or the insurance industry.
CRITERIA
- Must have Asian connection
- Must be available to present at The Digital Insurer conference in Singapore on 2nd November
- Demonstrates an innovative digital insurance solution that will have a positive impact on the insurance industry
- Demonstrates innovative digital business strategies
- Be able to demonstrate potential or actual impact or learning from initiative
AWARD NOMINATION PROCESS
WHO CAN ENTER?
- Companies operating within APAC can enter. This means companies headquartered in the region or alternatively companies that can demonstrate that they have customers in the region (this includes pilot opportunities)
- Companies are invited to self-nominate via our website www.asia2017.the-digital-insurer.com/asia-2017-nomination
- Nominations are free and open to the whole industry
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Address the awards criteria explaining why your company should win the award –Not to exceed 1000 words
- OPTIONAL (BUT RECOMMENDED)- Additional PPT deck that is no more than 12 slides long
- Entries must be written in English
- Upload high resolution company logo
- Video submission for application is optional but its recommended finalists produce a short video to help build their case
- Nominations must be submitted by 5pm (SG) 27th June 2017
- Entries not meeting these requirements will not be considered.

FINALIST SELECTION
- The Digital Insurer will review all nominations and select entries in each category to publish on the website
- The Digital Insurer will select the finalists in each category to present for 10 minutes at The Digital Insurer conference on 2nd November
- The verdict on the finalists by The Digital Insurer is final
SELECTING A WINNER
- The winner in each category will be selected by peers attending the conference on 2nd November, 2017 via live voting
- Both physical and remote attendees will have access to the mobile voting App on the day
- Attendees from nominated companies will be restricted from voting allowing for fair voting system
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Nominations will be publicized on The Digital Insurer website and promoted on social media. Submission wording and PPT deck will be shared
- The finalists in each category agree to appear in a 3 minute video interview that will be posted onto The Digital Insurer
- All Finalists receive 2 free conference tickets for presenters
- The four finalist’s in the Start-Up InsurTech award will receive complimentary booth space to showcase at the conference
