ABHICL commenced operations on October 5, 2016 & offers group & retails health insurance products. It has presence across 6 state through 9 branches & additional presences through our broker relationships. As on March 31, 2017 we had covered over two lakh lives.

Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co. Limited wants to harness the large native digital population in India & also shift the focus of health insurance industry from ‘Health Insurance’ to ‘Health’. So, our Activ Health application does just that & utilizes available digital tools to reach the end consumer in the fastest manner. Our digital vision has always been to be: Faster, Leaner & Smarter
While many insurers in the country have launched apps, those apps have mainly been transactional, just giving information about policy, branch locators, quote generation etc. The Activ Health app not only provides this information, but is also enabling a digital ecosystem for all Health & wellness needs.

Health Insurance is a significant instrument that guards against health related contingencies, yet the penetration of voluntary health insurance is less than 5% in India. Therefore, through our product ‘Activ Health’ we bring a unique proposition called ‘HealthReturnsTM’ that breaks the stereotype of reactive care to proactive care & incentivizes our consumers for proactive steps taken to be healthy.
We have built a complete digital ecosystem across 1200+ fitness centres, in over 50+ cities in the country. Consumers can also track their activity & heart rate with various wearable devices & apps such as Garmin, Fitbit, Apple Health etc. This digital experience goes a long way in creating a both a relationship & engagement with consumers.

• Activ Age – This section is a questionnaire based assessment of the customer’s “Health Age” compared to his/her biological age. Questions are based on customer’s health, activity & lifestyle habits.
• Healthy Heart ScoreTM – Based on various diagnostic tests the customer can know his or her risk of getting a heart related disease. All the customer’s data is available digitally on the app
• Electronic Health Records - Records the user’s health history by capturing more than 50 types of health data for him & showing all of that on the app for his reference & use on the fly.

o Active DayzTM help the customer to track their activity by linking their wearable devices like Fitbit, Garmin etc. or accelerometer based tracking apps with the Activ Health app
o Chronic Management Program - A customer who has a chronic condition can view his benefits online as well as raise claims against his chronic management medicines, doctor visits, diagnostic tests
